Our Story
Hidden Valley Farm came to life when Terri & Jim stumbled upon a 'For Sale' sign on their trip to Golden Bay. Inspired by the terrain, reminiscent of Dartmoor in England, they fulfilled their dream of living off-grid and creating a haven.
Driven by Terri's passion, they accepted farm pets in and built a pony herd across 400 acres. We are not a petting farm, but a private entity focused on exceptional care for pets in need of a secure forever home. Through a childrens book series, sponsorship and our adoption packages, and family farm holidays, we seek to share our vision and mission with others.
We welcome dedicated volunteers and offer hands-on activities. Our farm is a sanctuary for animals and humans, embracing off-grid living and self-sufficiency. Additionally, we host small weddings & elopements, with Terri as a Celebrant since 2013.
