Hidden Valley Farm Holidays

Welcome to our Hidden Valley Farm and Sanctuary
Nestled in the stunning Tasman region lies a hidden gem often missed by those who pass by.
Perched high on Takaka Hill, Hidden Valley Farm is a peaceful sanctuary where country life, community spirit, and a few secrets create an unexpected and enchanting destination to add to your itinerary.
The valley is a peaceful paradise for nature lovers, offering a wealth of self led outdoor activities — from hiking and biking to bird-watching, climbing, and caving. Unlike the mainstream tourist trail, Hidden Valley farm offers an authentic and intimate Kiwi experience, surrounded by unspoiled beauty and calm. Access to the farm is off Highway 60 to Golden Bay. While we can’t guarantee an insect-free environment, guests often comment that, compared with many other sites, Hidden Valley Farm has noticeably fewer flying insects. Thanks to our altitude and open valley setting, sandflies and other biting insects tend to be far less of an issue, making time outdoors more relaxed and enjoyable., The Sanctuary Experience
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our farm pet community, each with their own heartwarming story. The sanctuary leaves a lasting impression, offering visitors a chance to slow down, connect with animals, and enjoy the hidden side of the Tasman region.
Our camping huts are designed for those who love an old-fashioned holiday — without modern tech, and immersed in nature.
A do-it-yourself affordable option: stay in huts rather than under canvas, or are you traveling light? Upgrade your package by hiring bedding, camping equipment, gas bottles, and more once you get here (or pre-order and we can have it all ready for you).
