Hidden Valley Farm Stay

A Hidden Valley stay is often bypassed as visitors to the Tasman region rush to visit the highly marketed Golden Bay region, however the top of Takaka Hill holds a quiet community of country folk and it’s an unexpected place with plenty of nature and activity, not to be missed. Many people pass us by but with heaps of opportunity to detach from the normal stream of tourists with access to the inland Abel Tasman Track , Harwood Hole Track Reserve and Kahurangi National Park it's too good to miss. The newest hill activity is one for all; The Via ferrata only a stone throw from our farm. Other more leisurely activities include the Ngarua Caves, and The Woolshed Cafe On the farm itself there are 400 acres of pristine virgin bush, old forestry tracks & relics, streams and rocks to climb. For those experienced in caving we have some great cave entrances and many more to find. With the right experience you can holiday here to discover more caves? The camping huts and camping spots are set within a rustic farm and working sanctuary lifestyle, quaint, quirky and quiet, with incredible Tasman sea and mountain views day and night. Owned, built & operated by the Everett family, we know our piece of heaven will impress you. We look forward to meeting you.
